The 2026/27 Champions League is split between two broadcasters in the UK: TNT Sports, which shows the large majority of matches, and Amazon Prime Video, which has a smaller package of Tuesday-night games.
TNT Sports
TNT Sports shows most Champions League matches this season, across the league phase, play-offs, round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final. When several matches kick off at the same time, you can choose which one to watch. Standard kick-offs are 5.45pm and 8pm UK time.
TNT Sports is available through BT, EE, Sky and Virgin TV, and can be streamed through HBO Max in the UK without a TV box.
Amazon Prime Video
Prime Video has 17 matches this season, with first pick of the Tuesday 8pm games from the league phase through to the semi-finals. These matches are included with a standard Amazon Prime membership, so you don’t need a separate sports subscription. New members can usually start with a free trial.
Because Prime Video gets first pick on Tuesdays, the biggest Tuesday fixture of the week is often on Prime rather than TNT. Check the match page before kick-off.
Free highlights
Live Champions League football is not on free-to-air TV in the UK. Free highlights are available from the BBC, which has highlights rights only, and on TNT Sports’ YouTube channel.
What changes from 2027
From the 2027/28 season, Paramount+ has been reported as the new home of most UK Champions League matches. The 2026/27 season is the last under the current TNT Sports and Prime Video arrangement.
