These are UEFA’s official 2026/27 Champions League broadcasters for four of the biggest English-speaking football audiences outside the UK and US.
Ireland
Ireland is one of the best places in Europe to watch the Champions League for free. Rights are shared by:
- RTÉ, free-to-air, selected matches
- Virgin Media, free-to-air, selected matches
- Premier Sports, the pay-TV broadcaster with the widest coverage
Canada
DAZN holds the Champions League rights in Canada and streams the competition. OneSoccer shows a small number of matches each week through a partnership with DAZN.
Champions League matches kick off at 12:45pm or 3pm Eastern (9:45am or 12pm Pacific), so midweek games are daytime viewing across Canada.
Australia
Stan Sport is the home of the Champions League in Australia. Stan Sport is an add-on to a standard Stan subscription.
Because of the time difference, Tuesday and Wednesday night matches in Europe are played in the early hours of Wednesday and Thursday morning in Australia: the 8pm UK kick-off is around 7am in Sydney during the northern-hemisphere winter. Many fans watch replays or the extended highlights after waking up.
India and the subcontinent
Sony holds the Champions League rights for the Indian subcontinent, with matches on the Sony Sports Network channels and streaming on SonyLIV. The 8pm UK kick-off is 1:30am in India during the European winter.
